HAREBELL FAE
- Premium print -

Printed on super thick paper (600 gsm) with a natural watercolour texture, and a green core.

A fae from my new series 'Nordic Småfolk', she is wearing a harebell skirt, holding a bellflower in her hands.

Harebell has many common names including the sweet 'fairies’ thimbles' and can be found across North America and Europe. The Haida Indians of the Pacific Northwest called them "blue rain flowers" and it was thought that picking them would cause it to rain. In Europe the leaves are sometimes eaten raw in salad.

The common name of harebell alludes to the folk beliefs that witches used juices squeezed from this flower to transform themselves into hares.
